Reflection on Final Informative
While reviewing my peers informative report I’ve learned
I have so much more I need to fix about my essays. By looking at his writing
styles/skills and comparing it to mine I felt like I needed to improve. After
reading my peer’s draft I started looking back at my first draft I see that I
really need to revise my essay. I believe peer review doesn’t just benefits the
people you are reviewing but it also benefits yourself. As I read their essay
you learn things I haven’t known before.
Another benefit I gained from the collaborative peer
review is increasing my critical analysis skill, I was able to find things that
were confusing in his essays. Peer review also helps increase my writing skills
by reading one’s paper I will learn to develop to write in a similar fashion as
the paper I’ve read. The more peer reviews we do the more I can expand my
knowledge on writing skills. After reading someone else’s flaws in their paper
it makes it easier to find the flaws in my paper. While I was reading one’s paper
I was able to find out why his/her paper was succeeding or why it wasn’t
succeeding. Critical thinking was then used while I was revising my own draft
by thinking why my paper is not good enough and what are the ways to fix it.
