            I think the punishment for criminals should be similar to what it is now, but they should also add in an education system. Many of the criminals are likely not educated and needs to be educated. Instead of only punishing the criminals they should be taught things they have never learned. They should be taught how to write, read and any life lesson skills that will help them change their own lives. Many of the criminals became criminals because they didn’t have enough education, some reasons may be due to their family. Education can change a person’s life and how they react to things and speak to other or behave in society.

            Not every criminal that is put in prison is dumb, some may have talent and might not notice it. Every person deserves a chance to be educated, any person with enough knowledge can get somewhere in life. This is because we all have a brain that functions and every is capable of learning something new. Criminals are humans too, they were just driven to the wrong path in life, but with some effort it can change. I believe prisons should not only be a punishment to criminals, but also a way on how they should turn their life around from being someone everyone hates to someone who is capable of living in today’s society as a normal being.
